As a man of God, I meet people who live their lives dreading how their future will pan out. These people sit in church auditoriums clapping, jumping and praising God every Sunday yet they continue to be crippled by fear.

I shudder when I think about it and wonder what we did as Christians to get to this point. The deal is, if givers of hope become hopeless and the teachers of faith become faithless who is there to fend for the lost?

If the President of Ghana complains about the general difficulties in the economy to the people what is there to say? This will be the greatest transgression of behaviour expected of Presidents. He is expected to navigate the people and country away from any iceberg of hardship. Therefore, his work is to inspire hope in the citizens and not to dash it away.

The word faith has been preached over and over again in churches but it seems few Christians have grasped it and are living it. As the world trembles in fear and panic in despair, I do not expect believers to dance with that tune. Many of us whine about everything when we can change our fortune if we try. The word of God has been tried and tested and has never failed those who leaned on it.

What are the probable causes of fear and panic? I believe issues of what to eat, where to sleep, what to wear, and the lust of the material world are some of the causes of panic and fear in the world.

The situation in the world is not getting easier by the day as many expected. Prices of goods are increasing by the day, tuition fees rising through the roof and many youth are unemployed.  In our part of the world, it's even much harder for the middle and lower classes. Whiles some are swimming in extreme wealth, the majority of the population are wallowing in abject poverty.

So now many have resorted to spiritual means. Many people are praying for God's divine intervention in their situations. Others are calling for breakthroughs, with some unmerited favors. The churches in Accra have become very busy - even on working days.

The missing ingredients in the life of the Christian today are faith and wisdom. These are two principles we can't do without in our quest to achieve success as believers.

With respect to faith, I have combed throughout the scriptures and I haven't come across a verse which reads: "and the Lord failed to do what he said he will do". If you have seen such a scripture, then you have every reason to fear.

But scripture in Joshua 21:45 says: "Not one word of all the good promises that the Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass."

Our faith is in His word and nothing else. What has the Lord promised? The Lord fulfilled every good promise He made to the people of Israel. And He fulfills His promises in us today because we are carriers of the promise Himself, which is Jesus Christ. Whatever ends up unaccomplished was not the promise of God. It means it was never in His divine will. If you are confident that the Lord has spoken, then panic not.

In Joshua 1:8 the Bible says: "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

Let the word be your food if you want to have a successful life. Meditate on the word, and respond to what the word says. Stop consuming the CNN poverty report on Africa and believe that is the entire story. Stop responding to the news about the economic hardship and joblessness in the nation. Say to yourself: "my God shall provide all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus".  Repeat this also: "He shall conspire all things in my favour".  And believe in what the word is communicating to you.

Scripture in Hebrews 10:23 says: "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful."

Waver not but be confident and full of hope. Never doubt as a believer. The Lord has done it before and He is faithful to accomplish what He has said concerning us. Wait for the manifestation of His word. In His time He makes all things beautiful. Do not have your way, it must be his way. Be confident in His word and stay with the vision.

One of the verses in the Bible I love is Habakkuk 2:3. Scripture says: "For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay."

Stick to the vision if you trust in God. Stop trying many things within a short period of time. It is only a sign that you are desperate and don't know what you are about. It will not delay, just be consistent and focused. Is it about your education? Just be calm and take one thing at a time. If it's about your business, stay with the vision of what you want to see in the next few years and press on to victory.

May be you woke up this morning with so many expectations on your mind. Don't be deceived, there is nothing like the spirit of delay if you know that you are walking with Christ. Christ does not delay, He manifests His word at the appropriate time. Only believe in what He has told you and nothing else.

The Bible in Numbers 23:19 says: “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do?

Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?"

If your God is a man then surely you will fail. And of course many have men as their god's because the hope and faith is in the promise of men. But if you serve Elohim, the Lord God almighty, then it is impossible for Him to fail you. He has said it and surely He will do it. Don't panic! Don't waver! Let not the circumstances around you and the results of men dictate your emotions. Let not fear set into your spirit. He is able to do just what He says He will do and nothing else.

In 2 Timothy 1:7 scripture says: "for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."

Fear not if you believe in Christ. The Spirit in you is of power, love and self-control. You were born to dominate and you cannot do that if you are full of fear of the uncertainties. Fear kills dreams and makes successes short-lived. If you know that He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world, you rubbish all that the world is reporting about and stand firm to your faith.

God said in Joshua 1:9 that: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Do not be frightened my dear. Be courageous and do not be dismayed. The Lord has said that He will never leave you nor forsake you as long as you remain in Him. Wherever you go and whatever you do, He is with you.

I speak the Lord's blessings upon your life today. I speak to every ill situation that it be healed now in Jesus name. I command the spirit of God to rush and fill your heart as you have believed in Him and grant you boldness to stand in the days of adversity. You shall not fail. You are more than a conqueror. Go out and enjoy the benefits of the Holy Ghost.

Love you! Remain blessed!
